Menopause Research

Perimenopausal Estrogen Replacement Therapy Study

The PERT Study is a clinical research study investigating cardiovascular health, psychological well-being, and the benefits of estrogen replacement during the menopause transition. This research study is funded by the National Institutes of Health and conducted within The Center for Women's Mood Disorders (Director, David R. Rubinow, M.D.) at the University of North Carolina.
